Task configurator
What is Task configurator?
The task configurator is an essential component of creating a scavenger hunt on EventBattle. The game organizer can use the task configuration to define, modify, and adjust game tasks according to their desired needs.
Configurable properties of each task:
- Title: text title (tip: use emojis to make the task list more readable in the mobile app)
- Description: text description
- Reward points: number of points users will get for completing the task (tip: reward points can be a negative number)
- Repetitions (optional): the maximum number of task completions for one user
- Cooldown (optional): the time period after which the user can complete the same task again
- Photo required: checkbox defining whether a user needs to submit a photo when completing this task
The process of defining tasks for a scavenger hunt can be speed up using a tasks presets that are available to the game organizer when creating the event. Presets provide a set of basic tasks, which can modified to the needs of the event.
